F-U-C-K L-O-V-E

It's a terrible, terrible, terrible thing.

Why is it every time something bad happens in a relationship you think of your ex? Like they are magical superhero who will save the day?

Or you just throw in the towel without thinking it through?

I'm researching the male persuasion through the books 'He's just not that into you" and "I hope they serve beer in hell"

I know I'm ranting, but I just don't understand guys, AND I AM ONE!!!

Welcome Bloggers!

What is Love? [Baby Don't Hurt meee, Don't meee...no more! KIDDING]

There are so many songs, stories, movies, conversations, etc all about love. It makes us laugh, smile, cry, angry, obsessed, live, and die. We can't describe it though. We can say what happens. We can compare it. We can do everything but actually describe the feeling. There are no words.

We can't describe how it takes our breathe away, We can't describe how we can become so enthralled in a new relationship that it takes over our lives. We can't describe the fear. We can't describe the passion. We can't describe the desire. We can't describe how after the love is gone, the fire is still there. We can't describe how a heartbreak can hurt more than any physical pain.

When you "fall in love" there are usually a lot of obstacles. There is usually tons of baggage and debris in the way. Yet when we clear all that up, are we still in love? Can love last without problems, issues, and kids? Can we possibly find love without anything there to sabotage it?

And is love really blind? Is love really about two hearts? Can we truly love a person for what's inside their heart? Can we love someone with our eyes closed and hearts open?

When I type 'I Love You' into google, I get pictures of "hearts." No No, not actual human hearts. Cartoon hearts. Who came up with that idea of what a "love heart" should look like anyhow? When I type "love" into the internet dictionary it gives me:
1. A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. Sexual passion or desire.

The first one makes sense, but doesn't really sum it up!
The second boggles my mind. Sex and Love are different, right? RIGHT? I mean sex is a verb, and love is a noun...At least, I thought so. Is there a difference between love and sex? I mean you can build a life on love, but can you build it on sex? Can sex make a relationship? I know it can break it. Great sex is hard to find, but Great love is nearly impossible.

The slang dictionary gives us something a little different.

1. The most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric feeling for someone.
2.. Natures way of tricking people into reproducing.

I enjoy both of those. I think they are better than the actual definitions. They are real answers.

I can't possibly make sense of it, but I will try. I will use my knowledge, experience, and my thousands of first dates to try to help you and myself. I urge you to submit questions and stories. I will post "Love" soundtracks. I will post stories. I will post advice. I will post what to do and not do on first dates. Hopefully I can answer all these questions I have opened up for you. I will also update you on my current relationship.

We have been dating for a little over a week, and it's going great. I can really see myself progressing with this relationship. [Don't we always say that?] Wish me luck, and talk to you soon!

On a side note: I'm at Panera [LOVE THIS PLACE] And I just got a coffee, the pot said it was freshly brewed at 5:35, when it's only 5:11, WTF IS UP WITH THAT?
